Best Fall destinations in Canada for RVing

Fall is a great time for RV adventures! MOBILIFE RV CENTRE is sharing some of our favourite Fall RVing destinations across Canada.

E.C. Manning Provincial Park, BC

Sitting in the heart of the Cascade Mountains, E.C. Manning Provincial Park boasts incredible fall scenery. Canoe, kayak, or paddleboard on Lightning Lake or hike up to Mount Frosty to marvel at the golden beauty of the larch trees and view the starry skies.

This park offers 4 drive-in campgrounds; however the Lightning Lake Campground is currently closed.

Dinosaur Provincial Park Campground, Alberta

Located in the southern Alberta badlands,  Dinosaur Provincial Park Campground encompasses the largest and most spectacular area of badlands in Canada. Marvel at nature’s artistry while hiking through its monumental hoodoos and along the peaceful Red Deer River.

The park was also a repository of an exceptional abundance and diversity of dinosaur and other vertebrate fossils. Thanks to its unique geology, both present and ancient, the park was declared a World Heritage Site by U.N.E.S.C.O. in 1979.

There are over 120 RV-friendly sites with a range of services.

Moose Mountain Provincial Park, Saskatchewan

Established as one of Saskatchewan’s first provincial parks, Moose Mountain offers an extensive trail system, scenic lake views and many other year-round activities for the whole family to enjoy. With lovely stands of birch and poplar (cottonwood), it is a beautiful  destination to drink in fall’s splendour.

Camping is permitted throughout the month of October.

Rondeau Provincial Park, Ontario

With 11 km of sandy beaches along Lake Erie, extensive wetlands and having one of the few remaining tracts of old growth Carolinian forests in the province, Rondeau Provincial Park may well be Ontario’s version of paradise, especially if you love birdwatching. It’s world-class with over 360 species of birds having been observed in the area.

Camping is allowed through mid-November.

RVing at Kejimkujik National Park, Nova Scotia

Explore the wild beauty of Canada’s Atlantic coast this fall at Kejimkujik National Park. Enjoy the magnificent fall colours, paddling a canoe on waters travelled by the Mi’kmaq for thousands of years, hike and bike along forested trails, picnic or stroll along the seaside.

Camping is available until the end of October each year.
