It's most recent attraction, the Sky Gondola, located in the Stawamus Chief Provincial Park, allows visitors to reach 850 meters up the mountain, avoiding the hike. If you've never tried whale watching then get ready to see them in their natural habitat. Humpback and Gray whales can be viewed in Clayoquote Sound. Tours usually take 2 1/2 to 3 hours and are available from March until early November. Other activities include Bear watching, Flightseeing, or visiting Hot Springs Cove.
